August, 2025. During the the last 24 months, Alex Murphy was invited to conduct Master classes via the internationally renowned Vajra Theatre in Istanbul, Turkey (https://www.instagram.com/vajra.theatre/) and, for one month in Thimphu, Bhutan, at the Bhutan Film Institute (https://www.instagram.com/bhutanfilminstitutebfi/). Presently, weekly, Alex conducts classes and directs with a focus on Meisner Technique, Stanislavsky (interweaving key notions from the pioneering actor training ideas of iconic Yale School of Drama teacher, Earl Gister), Second City Improvisation, Practical Aesthetics, Acting for Camera, all levels, and Fusion Technique with short Play Production.
